Ground Anchors 
Do you find it difficult to drive tent pegs into the ground? Perhaps your tents have collapsed because the wind forced the pegs out of the ground. Anyone who has ever tried to insert pegs, washing line poles or bird feeder poles into the ground knows how difficult it can be or how easy it is for the poles to be displaced. Tri-R-Marquees offer a range of ground anchors from Spyra Base, which are designed to be easily inserted into the ground but are not easily removed.

The Spyra-Base Premium Anchor 220mm 

The Spyra-Base Premium Anchor 220mm has been designed as an all-in-one spiral. Developed for light anchorage situations e.g. tents, camouflage nets, gazebos etc.  
 
The steel spiral can penetrate hard ground, where conventional metal and plastic stakes break and distort when hit.  
 
The premium can be inserted and removed easily, eradicating the need for a mallet and noise caused when hammering conventional metal stakes.

The 250mm Universal ground anchors 

Spyra-Base Products have designed a unique range of ground anchorage systems for a variety of Military requirements, from our smallest Premium Anchor 220mm, for Military tents and light tethering use, to the Spyra-Base Hurricane range of Anchors for Heavy duty anchorage requirements. Both types of anchor can be rapidly deployed and removed by using a simple tightening bar or specially designed brace, saving time and labour.  
 
Lloyds British tested in wet ground conditions the 250mm holds to 110kg with a weight of 1.2kg. The 250mm Universal ground anchors provide extremely tough anchorage. Made up of three key parts.  
 
The top U bolt which penetrates the base plate and is spot welded from underneath.  
 
The Spyral is attached to the underneath of the base plate by as continuous seam weld on both sides of the spyral.  
 
The spyral when fully inserted compresses the base plate to the ground, the combined elements create an extremely strong and durable design, to hold in worst case ground conditions.
